BeaconMUN
Parliamentary Debate

The Public Speaking Society excelled beyond expectations at their signature event, BeaconMUN, a collaboration with IBDP. This impactful conference offered students an unparalleled platform to sharpen their public speaking, negotiation, and leadership skills through intense debates, strategic diplomacy, and dynamic discussions. 10 committees, 500+ delegates, 40+ secretariat members, 75-strong core team and 15 hours of debate in committee sessions over three days out of a conference that spanned 28 hours of work One of the most electrifying events of the year, Frames of Dispute, the IB vs A-levels Parliamentary Debate, brought together the sharpest minds from both streams in a battle of wit, logic, and rhetoric. With passionate arguments, strategic rebuttals, and moments of intense crossfire, the debate showcased the intellectual prowess of our students. The motion sparked a dynamic exchange of perspectives, with each side fiercely defending its stance. The IB team leveraged their interdisciplinary approach and global outlook, while the A-Levels team countered with their depth of specialized knowledge and analytical reasoning. Judges were left in awe as debaters delivered compelling speeches, skillfully dismantling opposing arguments. In the end, beyond the points and verdict, the debate was a testament to the power of discourse, critical thinking, and sportsmanship. All participants walked away with sharpened skills, newfound respect for opposing viewpoints, and memories of an exhilarating intellectual showdown.

Science Society

PRISM 1.0, a STEM Olympiad organized and hosted by the BCP PECHS A Level Science Society, took place on November 15-17, 2024. This flagship event was a landmark achievement: over 600 participants, belonging to reputable colleges and institutions from Karachi, competed in 12 innovative and novel modules spanning from STEM niches like Biology to Go-Kart building.
PRISM's modules covered various natural, applied, and general fields of knowledge, allowing students to compete across disciplines. The driving force behind the event was the talented Core Team, led by Abdul Wasay Baig, President, Anoosheh Kamran, Vice President, and Director Hamza Motiyar who expertly steered the team to success. The Core Team, comprising over 100 BCP PECHS students, meticulously crafted a platform where participants were encouraged to cultivate their curiosity and talent, and employ out-of-the-box thinking in logical and creative situations.
Additionally, the guidance and experience of our patron, Sir Faizan Pasha, and our event lead, Ms. Fazeen Faisal, elevated the quality of direction and management. The rounds were evaluated by the module directorate, while a special guest, Dr Uroosa Talib, a neuropsychiatrist, made a surprise appearance to judge the final round of our psychology module. Moreover, to round out the experience, two social events provided a welcome break from the competition: The Wildcard Module and the Qawali Night with Tahir Ali and Mahir Ali. The event culminated on Sunday night, with Team APEX being declared the Olympiad Winner, receiving their shield from our distinguished Chief Guest, Dr Asim Zaheer. Our Chief Guest also honoured the individual module winners with their respective shields. As a token of appreciation, all delegates received participation certificates. The first edition of PRISM ended up being a major success, setting a tough precedent for its legacy.

Music Society

Community Service Society

Spreading Hope Through Education The Community Service Society launched a truly heartwarming initiative at The Bridge School, where over 200 students of all age groups welcomed us with bright smiles and eager hearts. With the support of more than 40 volunteers, we successfully collected and donated over 600 stationery items, including pencil pouches, erasers, pens, pencils, ink pots, and essential supplies for both students and staff. Our core team personally visited the school, bringing along handmade goodie bags as a surprise for the students. Beyond the donations, we focused on something even more valuable: hope. Through interactive sessions, we encouraged students to believe in the power of their dreams, the importance of education, and their ability to create change. We engaged them in meaningful discussions, taught various subjects in fun and creative ways, and shared stories of resilience and ambition. The joy on their faces and the gratitude in their eyes reminded us why community service is more than just giving it’s about inspiring, uplifting, and empowering others. As we handed over the donations to the staff, their heartfelt appreciation reinforced our mission. Small actions, when done with sincerity, have the power to create lasting change. This initiative reflected the core motive of the Community Service Society this year: that every person is a catalyst for positive change.

Event Management Society

From the warm embrace of Sandsational Waves 2.0 welcoming the new AS batch, to the emotional goodbyes at the Farewell 2025, the Event Management Society truly shaped our year! Beyond the dazzle, they are the silent guardians of campus discipline and security for BCP events like PRISM, BEC XI and BeaconMUN.

Literary Society

Beaconhouse School System PECHS Campus was honoured to host one of the largest literary events in Karachi – Pakistan Spelling Bee Regional Championship Karachi Region. For this prestigious event, 50 A Level volunteers were engaged in supporting the overall execution of the programme.

Be You Community

The BeYou Community is at the forefront of a crucial mission: to shatter the stigma surrounding male mental health. Recognizing that many men face societal expectations that discourage them from seeking help, this community is dedicated to fostering an environment where men feel empowered to address their mental health challenges without fear of judgment. Through these combined efforts, the overarching goal is to promote acceptance, encourage open dialogue, and ultimately improve mental wellbeing across all demographics.
Another key area of focus is the experience of introverts in a world that often favors extroverted traits. These initiatives shed light on the challenges faced by individuals who find solace in solitude but may encounter social exclusion and intense emotions like anxiety, self-doubt, and isolation due to being perceived as "different." The goal is to dismantle the stigma surrounding introversion and encourage a more accepting society.
