We're extremely proud of the Beaconhouse Debate Team for performing spectacularly at this year's LUMUN, held in Lahore. The team has brought laurels to the school, with Shayan Ali and Ali Ahsan of IBDP winning outstanding diplomacy awards in SPECPOL and Suvaibah Ali of the BCP A Level winning an outstanding diplomacy award in UNCSW. We hope the team continues this legacy next year and continues to make us proud!

We are thrilled to announce that our team, Brain Busters, comprising Areeba Khan, Khizer Salman, Eesha Mujahid, and Amna Sami of DP-2, secured the Runner-Up position in the Diagnosis Dilemma module at PSIFI XVI, the largest-ever edition of LUMS' flagship science event. Our team competed against 400+ teams across Pakistan. Facing multiple elimination rounds, we showcased incredible teamwork, critical thinking, and scientific expertise. We are immensely proud of our achievement as it is a testament to our hard work and passion.

We are beyond proud to announce that *Team Nexora 3000* from *IBDP Beaconhouse PECHS Campus - Laiba Zeeshan, Muhammad Usman, Abdul Muhaymin, Alizah Naeem, and Rayn Aziz - secured *1st position* in the highly competitive Strategic Symposium module at YLES 2024, LUMS! Competing against 200+ teams from across Pakistan, Team Nexora 3000 faced intense eliminations round after round. Their innovative strategies, relentless hard work, and exceptional teamwork set them apart and led to this remarkable victory. From Karachi to Lahore, they showcased resilience and brilliance, making us all immensely proud. Congratulations, Nexora 3000 - you’ve truly earned this win!

The IBDP students recently showcased their critical thinking, articulation, and research skills through an intense Parliamentary Debate session. Divided into proposition and opposition teams, students engaged in thought-provoking arguments on contemporary issues, following the formal rules of parliamentary procedure. The activity not only sharpened their public speaking and reasoning abilities but also encouraged respectful discourse and active listening — key components of being globally minded individuals. From witty rebuttals to powerful closing statements, the debate was a true reflection of the intellectual spirit of the IB learners.

Hackathon 5.0, organized by the IBDP students of Beaconhouse PECHS Campus, was a thrilling two-day event featuring participants from various schools and colleges. Focused on four selected United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), it was a platform for young innovators to showcase groundbreaking ideas and entrepreneurial spirit. With mentorship from industry experts and detailed feedback from our esteemed judges, the event celebrated creativity, collaboration, and impactful problem-solving.

International Culture Day was a vibrant celebration at the IBDP PECHS Campus, Beaconhouse, where our language teacher integrated languages into CAS. This helped students showcase the rich diversity of Punjabi, English, French, and German cultures through a captivating play performed in English, Urdu, French, and German languages. The event featured a mix of performances, where students not only acted but also sang songs and recited poetry in these languages, highlighting the beauty of linguistic diversity. Additionally, various stalls were set up, each representing different regions and languages, offering traditional food, crafts, and information, allowing attendees to immerse themselves in the unique customs and traditions of each culture. This celebration fostered a spirit of unity and appreciation for the diverse world we live in.

The Investiture Ceremony 2024 marked a proud and inspiring moment for the IBDP community as our newly elected Student Council took the oath. The event celebrated the spirit of leadership, service, and commitment, reflecting the IB Learner Profile in action. With grace and determination, the student leaders pledged to uphold the values of the school, represent their peers, and lead with integrity. The ceremony was a true reminder that leadership is not about titles, but about impact.

DP2 students took centre stage, showcasing their subjects and the breadth of their curriculum to the DP1 parents and students. From the unique ManageBac system to our one-of-a-kind House system, the IB Diploma Programme at Beaconhouse PECHS Campus truly offers a distinctive academic experience. We are incredibly proud of our students for stepping up and presenting their journey, and providing an inspiring glimpse into the world of IB learning. The DP2 students had the pleasure of hosting an exciting welcome party for the new DP1 cohort, marking the beginning of their IBDP journey. Set against the serene backdrop of Turtle Beach, the event was packed with house games and competitions, creating the perfect environment for a full day of fun, laughter, and camaraderie. From an adventurous Scavenger Hunt to the thrilling Tug of War and engaging activities like Ring Toss, the day was filled with energy and excitement! The house games fostered team spirit and helped forge new friendships, setting a positive tone for the year ahead. With delicious breakfast and lunch fueling the day, everyone enjoyed the opportunity to bond over challenges and victories, making this day one to remember.
