House of Hope: Becoming the Voice of the Voiceless
As part of their CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) initiative, the IBDP students of Beaconhouse
PECHS took a compassionate step toward community service with their project, "House of Hope" — an
inspiring activity dedicated to the welfare of stray animals.
Driven by empathy and a strong sense of responsibility, the students became the voice for the
voiceless: feeding, caring for, and advocating for animals often overlooked by society. From
organizing food drives and providing medical aid to raising awareness about animal rights, the
project reflected their commitment to creating a kinder, more inclusive world.
This meaningful engagement allowed the students to understand the value of service rooted in
empathy, while also aligning with the IB mission of nurturing global citizens who take action to
make a difference.
Global Dignity Day Celebration

conducted house-wise. The focus was not only on culinary skills but also on mutual respect and
appreciation.
In a beautiful gesture of inclusivity, the school’s support staff were invited to serve as judges,
selecting the best dish prepared by the students. Their involvement added depth to the event,
allowing students to express gratitude to those who work tirelessly behind the scenes.
To further acknowledge their contributions, special appreciation baskets were presented to the
support staff as tokens of love and respect.
The event was a shining testament to our shared values of dignity, kindness, and community spirit.
