BISC 2025 Regional Round: A Celebration of Student Talent and Innovation

The Beaconhouse International Student Convention (BISC) 2025 Regional Round, held at Beaconhouse PECHS Campus, Karachi, brought together some of the brightest young minds from across the Southern Region. This exciting event served as a gateway to the BISC global finals, scheduled to take place in Manila, Philippines, in January 2025. The day featured a wide range of competitions reflecting BISC’s core themes—creativity, sustainability, and global citizenship. Students competed in the BISC Film Festival, showcasing impactful short films aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The BISC Icon segment highlighted musical talent from across campuses, while Green Revolution presented innovative sustainability projects. RoboQuest, the robotics competition, demonstrated how students are shaping the future through technology. Judged by industry experts in media, education, and technology, the event celebrated not just competition but collaboration and creative expression. Our grade 11 Sociology students showcased a mini global village. They dressed up in attires of different cultures and presented cuisines from around the world. Students learned so much from their hard work and dedication in bringing this celebration of cultures to life. TDF Ghar Excursion

Driven by their passion for the arts, the Music and Theatre Society, in collaboration with the Photography Club, orchestrated an insightful visit to the Spotify: House of Icons exhibition at TDF Ghar. This student-led initiative paid homage to Pakistan’s legendary musical figures, offering an engaging and inspiring experience that celebrated the nation's vibrant musical legacy. The combined efforts of the Music and Theatre Society and the Photography Club brought their peers into an immersive world of interactive displays and vivid visuals. The exhibition, showcasing the influential artists who have shaped Pakistan’s sonic landscape across generations, was brought to life through the students' collaborative planning and execution.
